  • A review involves the expression of limited assurance that the financial statement is free of material misstatement

Compilation - No Assurance

  • Assist management in presenting financial statements.
  • Formal report states no opinion or assurance of the financial statements. Lack of independence disclosed.

Preparation - No Assurance

  • No formal report.
  • CPA independence not required.
